Ever since I was a kid, my favorite place to go was at the aquarium. All these colors and different shapes moving around, mesmerizing you and keeping you hooked for hours. Not all fish were "beautiful" to be properly said, but they were interesting, and that's what made it so intriguing to see.

Indeed, what are our eyes for, if not to look at interesting things around us? Walking around the city with my parents, it didn't matter that I didn't know how to read yet or that I didn't know what exactly I was looking at, because I found it interesting to look at.

And isn't it the whole reason eye-catching visuals exist? To capture someone's attention, before they even know what exactly caused them to glance at it?

In my case, I believe this fact is what has driven my creative expression over the years; I could either do one thing that looked like a hundred other ones, or do THE thing that stood out amongst the hundred other ones (and I chose the latter).

Although my works may be a little too striking for a few people, they still turn their heads before judging they don't like it. And if I did catch their attention, if I caused them to have an opinion on my work, that same work remains in the back of their minds; to me, that is far more important than whether or not someone likes my work, because a work that is memorable surpasses a work that you pass by.
